Hello all! :)

I have undergone 5 weeks of my Uni life, and so far everything's pretty good. Not too busy, as I'm only taking 3 modules this semester, unlike most of my friends who are taking 5-6 modules. Nonetheless, all of us shall work hard together! :)

Life these days? Party, party, and more parties. I have been partying almost on every Friday nights. You know what? I'm happy this way. I love to party; I love to drink. :D Don't judge me for this, though. I love it being single and free! :)

Now, I'd like to share some thoughts on my singlehood life: -
Read a few posts which were posted during a particular period of time. That triggered me to update my blog tonight.
Most of those said blog posts were sad and negative ones. What an irony! So who says being in a relationship is great? I don't find it the case anymore since that disaster (yes I have to use such tragic word). In addition, seeing one of my girlfriends being so unhappy in her current relationship just further proves my point of view. I don't need any guy. Especially since I'm aware of the fact that I love to party; thus I will find trouble to myself for having a boyfriend as he will most likely disagree on me partying. However, I have learnt my lesson. I won't and I repeat I freakin' won't allow my future boyfriend to control or restrain me from clubbing. Either he accepts it or we don't even get together. I won't be the kind of submissive girlfriend anymore. If possible, I'd try not to engage in a relationship with a guy who clubs. I have witnessed too much; far too much - cases whereby guys, who have a girlfriend, doing improper acts behind her back. What bastards. I won't be able to engage in a suspicion-free relationship with a clubber. Yes, I myself am one too, thus I might sound too selfish. However, it's my past personal experience, as well as the scenes I witness, which cause how I think today.

I'm so sick of this thing called "love". It's been more than half a year. My heart just can't seem to "open" and accept anymore. It's been well guarded by this thick wall around it, preventing me from falling and getting hurt. It has done its job pretty well. In this case I can save myself from potential heartaches. However, on the other hand, it makes me not know how to feel loved anymore. My mind, my head, know that who is genuinely good to me, but not my heart. My heart can't feel it, though I myself am aware of it. I hate this. This has made me lost what could have been mine, lost really good guys, lost the chances. I'm sucha biatch. :(

People have been telling me to open my heart, but I just can't do it. I don't have the faith in guys anymore; as I can't learn to trust, I don't want to fall in love. You know how a person can be a great friend but not a good partner. I don't want to eventually lose a good friend just because we got into a relationship and broke off thereafter. Very tiring, really. It's even more heartbreaking that is. Miss some of those guy friends who were once really close to me at some points in my life. Why can't two people of the opp gender be really great friends all the way? Thinking of these makes my heart aches alot.

All in all this thing called love is bad. Really bad. I don't like. Who can save me and change my view in love again? No, I'm not yearning to be in love all over again. In fact, I pretty much love being single like this. Happy and so carefree. :3

That should sum up my thoughts about being in a relationship.

Helloooooo!
Been 1 month, how have you guys been?

Life's been pretty mundane for me.
Every weekday evening I'll go give tuition, and on weekends morning/afternoon too. Yes, 7days per week. I don't know which wire in me snapped but I just want to be occupied everyday so that I won't feel too lousy. But life's been damn slack still, since all are like at Yishun and each lesson lasts for only 1.5hours. I'm so bored that I go online shopping everyday, but there's practically nothing much for me to buy. What shyt right? I want to spend $$ but nothing catches my fancy. *rawrrrs*

Hmmm.. Sometimes I'll meetup w friends for catch-ups, celebrations or shopping. :D

Seems like everyone has started/is starting to get busy with their lives.
Many of my friends have started their Uni life in SIM, while I still have to wait till the end of August. Even my dear ahkui is going to start her Uni in NTU!! NOT TO MENTION, SHE'S GONNA STAY IN THE HOSTEL OMFGZXC.

I'M SO EFFIN' ABANDONED BY THE WORLD!!

Even my bitchy sissy has F-I-N-A-L-L-Y commenced her 1st official full-time job! Office hour, god.

Now I foresee myself to be even more zibi already.
NOBODY IS GOING TO REMEMBER THAT THERE'S THIS GIRL HERE WHO'S STILL CHILLING AND IN NEED OF ATTENTION AND OUTINGS!!!!

Been on Hiatus for 2 months!

I'm still the same, on loooooong holiday still. University? Nope, still 2 months to go. One thing different for now is that I've been giving tuition, since 2 weeks ago, to earn some income for myself. 3 kids :D

Keeping my weekdays evenings occupied makes me feel not too lousy, not too rottish. ;)

Surprised that I'm blogging after a 2-month Hiatus?
Suddenly thought of my Blog, and felt that I should at least update on a brief note.

Time really really flies. It's been about 2 months since I left Temasek Poly. Currently waiting for the official Graduation date, i.e. 24 May 2011, when I'll attend the Graduation Ceremony in the Graduation Robe. :')
I hope my sissy & mummy can attend this faithful day, and watch me collect my Diploma Certificate with pride. ♥

So what have I done for these 2 months?
I haven't worked, at all. I'm like spending money doing shopping online, on food, and on parties+supper.
Not to mention, my 5-day Macau & Hong Kong trip from 29 Mar to 2 Apr.
It's been 3 weeks or so since my trip, I'm so lazy to blog bout it, just let the almost 600 photos I had taken during the trip, speak. Feel free to browse at the following links:-

On another note, I have just rebonded my hair yesterday. The session lasted for 8.5 hours! Pity my butt. But well, it's an annual thing, so I'm used to it already. And it cost me $280. I'm sure it's worth it though, given how long it can last and the 2-3 treatments included. :) And and, I'm gonna go on Hibernation mode for at like 3-4 weeks, rotting at home. Yes I'm serious. I'm darn sensitive bout the flat flat hair and thus the big big face. May not be the case la, but you know, I'm damn sensitive, that's why. You seeee, so much for being vain. :/

Moving on..
Now that I'm gonna graduate, what's my next plan?
Of course is to get a Degree. :) Waiting for Letter of Offer.

Hmmm, basically my life's pretty slack now, once I'm comfortable with my hair already, MEET UPS w me okay?! Just book me, I'm darn available.

1 February 2011 [CNY Eve Eve]
Met ah en darling & chenpheng in the evening for reunion dinner at Cafe Cartel. :D

Been so long since we met this guy uh, and we had so much catch-ups! Mr. Tay had so so so much to crap about srly. Think he been coop-ed up at home for too long already. Ah en, we should really bring this guy out often la hor? Haha. After that, plus some camwhorings, we walked down to Beancurd City to have supper with Surhui. Ya sia, eat & eat only siol.

Discussing bout Surhui's bday party plans and all.. He like damn excited only. Hahahhaa.

2 February 2011 [CNY Eve]
Met up with my girlfriends, ah en darling & ah kui for reunion lunch at Xin Wang :D

As usual, updates with girlfriends always lemme feel much better. Thank God I have them with me. (L)

After lunch, separate ways w ah en, while I went kui's house to nua for bout 1 hour+ basically cos' I didnt know where to go and I didnt want to go home yet. Oh yes, we had an impromptu decision to go Chinatown at night!! So in the late afternoon kui and I went for our own reunion dinner first before meeting again for our Chinatown session :D Before going on separate ways, we had a cam-whoring session!

Went home first since it's still early.. Couzzie's lil' son was being kidnapped to our place! Hahahaha. He was sleeping on my bed when I got home, but woke up a while after. Played with him. Camwhored again. Then at like 6+, my family went over to couzzie's house to join her fam for reunion steamboat dinner as usual (and to return them their baobei son hahaha). After steamboat, had the usual 'lou hei' session! Slack abit, and off!

Met Kui at bout 9pm for our squeeze-with-the-ah-pehs session at Chinatown. Hehe. Damn lots of people already lor at the control station itself. Chinatown was bit crazy la, damn lots of people siol. Me and kui just wanted to go there to squeeze and indulge in the festive mood. Haha. And impromptu for count-down and watch fireworks tooo! Bought lots of new year deco-s for mummy, and about 2.5kg of sweets/puddings/mochi-s (zomg). Had dim-sum half way. :D

Wokay, it's 3.18am, very late already, time to sleep soon given that I'm still a sick bird, ugh. Shall blog bout my 1st & 2nd day of CNY soon, like when I wake up? :)

Before ciao-ing, I'd like to thank my good friends, especially my gf-s for being with me these days. I've been spending so much time with you people that when I got home, I already feel so tired I just sleep, and I couldn't have much time to think bout other stuffs. If not for y'all, I think I'll have a rather miserable CNY. I have been having fun. Thank you friends! Thank you God for letting me have them by my side.

I think this exchange is damn fking worth it. :)

3rd February 2011 [Chu Yi]
A simple visiting at ah ma's place. Basically it's just my family and my ah ma. Different from the previous years as the other relatives couldn't come up to my ahma's place for visiting due to my ahgong's passing last November.

Nonetheless, this allows a more informal gathering :) Awesome food as usual!

We left ahma's place at like 8+pm. Took Daddy's car to Khatib, then headed down to Clarke Quay to meet ah en darling & her couzzie to chill! Went to Clinic for some drinks, and then headed down to Bar None with darling to meet Geraldine, for more drinks and then dance!

This is the first time in my life I ever hang out with friends during CNY Chu Yi! Hahaha. Damn impromptu plans somemore. Awesome!

4th February 2011 [Chu Er]
Went Hougang for visiting. Awesome food as usual! Halfway, daddy brought the family to his friends' place at Lentor for visiting. Ang baos ang baos, huat ah! After the visiting at his friends' place, we went back to Hougang for dinner before returning home. :)

And then just nice, in the late afternoon of the 2nd day of CNY, fever. Awesome timing siol. Heng I got no visitings/plans after my 2nd day of visiting at Hougang. When I got home, took my temperature, it read 39.6 degrees. AWESOME BABI. Hahaha. Cos during CNY eve, I went down to Chinatown, it was raining and I had no brolly with me. The fact that I have been sleeping so darn little for the past 1 month means my immune system quite weak uh, so little bit of rain my body can't provide resistance to illness already. Lousy luh. So sick lor. PLUS THE FACT THAT, I still went drinking and all, and continued munching on new year goodies. GG lor. Hahaha. Actually I was thinking I wouldn't mind getting some uber high fever and illness and then stay in hospital to have a good good rest but well... my fever gone already (thanks to mummy's excellent care ._.) .. Yup! But cough and flu still disgusting like a G6.

So friends, please take care of yourself. Yes, continue munching on goodies and good food, but do drink plenty of water and have suffix rest! :)

Yes.. it's 6+am now and I'm still up.

It's finally February.. Yet in the first hour of February I had to face shyt. It's all acting up once again at home. I hate it.. And yes, I cried. I couldn't understand why I'm facing problems after problems, so I just broke down. Studies' enough to take a toll on me, and I've been facing one other issue, and now this problem at home. Seriously, God, are you trying to play around with me? I can't take so much You know. It's suffocating, I really can't breathe soon. I will collapse one day soon, if problems just keep piling on me..

At that point of time, I asked myself, "Where's that someone whom I at this moment, need the greatest pillar of support & comfort from?". Crying alone like that wasn't fun you know. The more I thought to myself, the more I cried. But after letting my tears run, I felt better. Thanks, my #Twittergang, I feel the love & warmth. What do I do without you guys? (L)

Now to my studies.. Seen some light towards the end of this really hiong past 1 month or so life. Basically I haven't been getting enough sleep, with around 3 hours of sleep or none at all, due to chionging of projects, tutorials and tests. It's been hell, really. Finally left with one last major project, and which is to be over and done with by Wednesday morning. Awesome much.

Speaking of arrival of February, I just hope that everything will be smoothsailing ahead for me. January wasn't a good month. I experience much of the downside of life, been thru' so many things, been there done that.

I just hope I can focus on my studies for this month of February, that's it. Last day of school on 3 March at 1130hrs. Just need to be given the strength & motivation to endure through this stressful period. Give me no additional or redundant problem(s), please. I've had enough, really.

I just realised I haven't blogged in this holy 2011.

I've been so damn busy with all the school work - projects, assignments, tutorials, and now tests to add on. Not to mention, when I'm officially done with all the projects and tests, it doesn't mean I can rest, cos' it will mean exam is here. Wtfisheryyyy.

This last semester is really one kind of a hiong.

Chinese New Year is approaching. I really can't feel any festive mood. During CNY, I'll rather stay home and use the time to rest or continue chionging my projects, seriously, if I can have the choice to do so. I don't mind missing out all those angbaos for some time to myself.

Anyway this January is just bad la. I really mean, bad.
I'm so stressed with everything. Problems piling. I don't know what is coming up next. School work is enough to kill, yet I have to go through all these additional shyt-nots. Isn't fair to me.

I really wish I can now just sit by the beach, listen to the calming waves, feel the cooling breeze, indulge in nothing but the soothing peace.

I.NEED.A.GETAWAY.(!)

Nonetheless, it's because of these that I know I've got to grow up. And it's because of these that's gonna make us stronger. Can we do it?

It's the last day of the year, so despite me gonna be late to meet Darlin' for our "last" lunch of 2010, I'M HERE BLOGGING! :)

Thank you each and every one of you who has/had been in my life at one point or another. I don't care if you're just a hi-bye friend, a classmate, a course mate, a school mate, a ~~fling~~ good friend, a khaki, a very good friend, a best friend, a girlfriend, a sister, a brother or whosoever, as long as I've met you in my life, be it for even just a minute, I want to say that I'm glad I've met you.

Friends, always remember this. Even if I have not contacted you for days, months, or even years, you have been in my mind. I'm not one who forget friends easily. I will still think of everyone, be it we are close or not, really. :)

On another note, sorry to anybody whom I have caused unhappiness, discomfort, boredom, etc etc to. Hehehehe. Let bygones be bygones. (P.S. Though I really have no idea and I strongly doubt I've did any major mistake or caused any major problem to anyone, haha) .

My 2010 has been great, especially since October. I meet many awesome people, lead an awesome ~~havoc~~ life, have an awesome me revealed. Hahahaha. I really hope my 2011 can at least stay this way, though better will be even more awesome. Hehe.

2nd week of break

Konnichiwa!

Time flies! It's 29th December already.
Just 3 more days and it's a brand new year.

I don't know why, somehow I don't wish for 2010 to end just like that. Or, I don't wish for 2010 to just end like that. I think I'm not ready to welcome 2011 with open arms yet. Maybe.. A bulk reason being that it would mean I'm left with less than 2 months to graduation, and major decisions will need to be made. I hate decision-makings, not to mention this being such a huge one.

Maybe I shouldn't think so much now and just embrace the new year. ;)

Now to updates on my life. Basically this is my second (and last) week of my school break. Not ideally called a school 'break' since I don't get a break from school work but rather am thrown a truckload of projects. January is gonna be one uber hectic month, when deadlines are scattered all over.

So for Jan I might just MIA.
- Gfs, picnic in Feb or March okay?!?! *excited* (Ps need drraaggg another year)
- Jeff, can't blame me if I neglect you okay???

24 hours per day really ain't enough!
I want more time for everyone and everything.

The last day was one as-if-I-just-fought-a-99-years-war kind of day.
I've never experienced such a thing throughout my 2.5years in TP.
I will never want to experience it ever again .

Anyways, the load is off my shoulders!

Shall not think about it already. What's done has been done, so I should just enjoy my well-deserved break (at least for these 2 days).

Before start of the school semester, life's been pretty much interesting for the past 1 month at least. After work, you don't have to worry or think about tutorials or projects, and you can just go anywhere you like. Now that school has resumed, it's so tough to spare the time, and time seems to be just so not enough. I can't get to go out as and when I like to. My mind is always filled with tutorials and projects. That's one main difference between work and school.

I srly can exchange 1 month of my school semester for another 1 month of work.

Okay, maybe I just haven't adapted, haven't switched my whatever back to that of being a studious student. Too much fun already. I think I can be back to a not-so-kancheong-spider student after the 2weeks break. (:

So I can't rly blog much now.

2 weeks break after the coming week! I'm so damn looking forward to the break please, though a big part of it will be ~~wasted~~ spent on projects.

Attended Artery's 5th Anniversary party w Sissy & friends. Had some food, then drankkkk. Got to know new people there. All nice peepo. (Y)

After that, headed to dbl O to club! My 1st clubbing experience of my life. Was not that great, cos' one of my contact lens dropped when I had just hit the dancefloor for like not too long. THANKS TO SISSY SOMEMORE.

Afterwhich, ended the night with supper at Yishun 925 with sissy and a friend.

Attended a BBQ with Sissy & friends.

After that, went clubbing again.

Monday [25 Oct'10]
Impromptu Sakae Sushi dinner at Causeway Point with sissy & Joel. :D We ate so much, and to finish off the food, we resorted to drinking games, whereby the loser for the round had to eat up something. Had a really really enjoyable evening with them. Literally laughters everywhere. I've really forgotten when's the last time I genuinely laughed so hard, till this day. Thank you-s to ni men, really! (:

Friday [29 Oct'10]
Finally satisfied my craving for "The Prata Place" at Upper Thomson! Everyday on the bus to&fro work, I'll pass by this place which faces the main road, and I have always wanted to try the food there, even more so after having read good reviews of it. Told sissy and we reserved this date for The Prata Place. Been counting down to this day, hehe. & we ordered so effin' much food!

Was so full that I kept breaking voice during the singing session, wth. :/

* Reviews/Recommendations:
1. Kosong Pratas recommended rather than the special pratas (except choco). The kosong ones have the buttery taste, and they are crispy. Really nice!

2. Don't order Lassi for drinks if you're having a heavy meal there. Lassi being a thick yogurt drink can really be a beverage you'd want to avoid coupling with a heavy meal.

3. I think non-creamy mutton soup tastes better than creamy ones. So if you are a mutton soup lover I doubt you will fancy the creamy version The Prata Place offers.

This week passed by so fast. Time just slipped away, so quickly.
Main reason is because I was in Court for a trial from Wed-Fri. So am basically out of the office the whole day.

My first time personally experiencing a real-life trial. Learnt alot from the trial. If only I get frequent trips to the Court for trials during the remaining 7weeks of my SIP. I wouldn't mind wearing the 'penguin' suit, wearing the high heels, carrying my heavy lappie from home all the way to the Court, to and fro, nor would I mind typing the Notes of Evidence like the speed of bullet train for the whole day during the trial (: I really did soooo much typing these 3 days! Listening skills and typing skills. Total of near to 50pages of Notes of Evidence. And yessss, I'd also like to thank my boss for the lunch those 3 days at Singapore Cricket Club. Food's awesome, and I get to meet many lawyers there :D

On another note, this week, my grandma has been staying with us since the cremation of grandpa. I really appreciate her so much. With her staying with us, we get to eat home-cooked meals, and get to stay in a neater and tidier house. Previously in the first 3 weeks of my SIP, I think of how I was going to settle my dinner every day. But this week, I don't have to worry, and I just have to look forward to getting home for dinner. Simple dishes, yet heavenly. All of us, frankly speaking, find grandma's cooking better than mummy's. Hahaha.

Currently blogging at my ahgong's wake.

Today's the 3rd day. Had a ritual just now. And I'm feeling damn shag now. Legs are wobbly.. All the kneelings and getting up, repetitively, were really torturous. Just like what I went through bout 3 years ago at my ah ma's wake. Tomorrow's gonna be worse, with more than 1 round I think. Not enough sleep somemore.. Woah, rly damn shag man.

Ah gong, do you still remember the big beautiful lanterns you made for my sis and I for some lantern contest while we were in primary school? Do you know how proud we were to bring the lantern to school for it's rly beautiful?

Ah gong, I miss the ice lemon tea you used to make for us. But I'll still keep in mind your advice to us, that we shouldn't drink lemon tea as it's very unhealthy and high in sugar.

Been so tired with SIP that I've got no time to really sit down and blog.

It's a typical weekday afternoon and I'm at home. It feels so weird, and I've got nothing to do.. I'm taking 3-days Compassionate Leave. On leave from work all the way till next Monday. It centainly doesn't feel good to take Compassionate Leave. I hope this will be the first, also the last time.

This morning at bout 7.05am, just before I leave the house for work, the house phone rang. I knew it must be the bad news. Grandma called and asked us to go down to TTSH immediately. The doctor had called her before that.

Ahgong had already passed on by the time we received the news. It's saddening for him to pass on without somebody by his side. It's like early in the morning, so no one was there. Ahgong's eyes were open. It's said that if one's eyes are open when he/she pass on, it means he/she has unfulfilled wish. I hope it's not necessary true.

Headed straight to Toa payoh (grandparents' place) after everything's done with ahgong in the coffin and ready to be driven down to his place. At bout 12noon, had a ritual. Then they nailed the coffin :'(

Came home w daddy at 2+pm.. To prepare some stuffs and blah. Going back to the funeral at bout 6pm.. Will be bringing my lappie down to use while keeping ahgong company..

Ah gong, I'm sure you feel so much better now?
Goodbye to the tubes, pipes, vaccinations, oxygen mask, blood, etc.
No more pain, no more sufferings.
I wonder if you're around us now? Looking at what we are doing? Hearing our conversations? Watching over us?

Time seems to fly over the weekends. WHY LIKE THAT? >.<

That this is going to be a good week. Stay positive, look forward to work, and it will be Friday again!

Shall entertain myself with all the nice cars I spot on the roads while taking the long 1hour+ bus rides. :D

First week of SIP!

I guess I'll now be blogging on a weekly basis with the fact that I'm dying to crawl to my bed each night every weekday after my dinner/tv session having been soo worn out after a day's work.

Week One of my SIP is over! And today's my first weekend.
So deprived of sleep that I woke up at bout 5pm today, instead of 5.30am. Slept for 16+ hours. Really shiokkkkk.

Work for the 1st week is still okay. One thing I have to really really adapt with is the office's AIR-CONDITIONERS. The office is so very uber duber extremely super mario freezing cold! On the first day I nearly froze to death, and was being reminded again and again by the staffs to bring a jacket the next day onwards. My nails literally turned purplish! Omggggg. On Thursday, I forgot to bring and was freezing again but uber fortunately I was wearing long-sleeved so it wasn't THAT bad although it was still awfully bad. I still think jackets don't work that well though. I need the kind of winter coats, srly srly srly! The area I'm sitting at is like a freezer. The lawyers' rooms and the main area of the office aren't as cold as where I sit. The hand-dryer at the washroom is my best buddy now! But gradually I try to just stay where I am, instead of going to the washroom to use the hand-dryer.. Cos after getting back to my desk from the washroom, the temperature difference is larger so I feel colder and I start to shiver, and my lips tremble, literally. Now I just stay at my seat for as long as I can since my body has already turned numb and gotten adapted to the freezing temperature.

Basically everyday my eyes will automatically turn to look at the bottom-right corner of the computer screen. Yea right, the time. I'm always counting down every 30mins, from 8.5-hours to knockoff time, to 8 hours, 7.5hours, 7hours, and finally 5mins. Hahaha.

And also, one thing I look forward to doing after work every day is the taking of longgggg 1hour+ bus trip back to Yishun from Sultan Plaza. I like to look at the cars. So I check out the cars at the road all the way back to Yishun, hehe. And I always take the same seat every day. My earphones are my best pal, accompanying me through the long long rides twice every day. :D

Oh ya, on Wednesday, went straight to the Juvenile Court instead of the office. Was an intimidating place inside the Court itself.. It was so uber silent that I can hear my stomach growling omfg. Embarrassing please! I already made sure I have breakfast in the morning, but because of all the waiting and travelling time, by the time we went in to the Court my food had already been digested. Sides that, it was a nice experience, as I get to personally experience the process of a hearing in a Juvenile Court, from the waitings to the hearing to waitings and back to the hearing again.

Some personal feelings on the place of work shall not be blogged here.. You know how dangerous blogging openly and publishing it on a net is. Hahaha.

I'll like to thank the school lecturers for opening a Discussion Board specially for SIP, allowing us students to post on the discussion board, be it for casual crappings or for serious stuffs. This allows the interns, especially the lonely ones who have no friends working at the same place, to go on the Discussion board and have a chat w our fellow coursemates, and also allows everyone to seek help from our fellow coursemates by posting questions or doubts faced from the work assigned to us during work.

Now, my bag has been filled with FOOD. There's sweets, extemely sour plums, some sour stuffs, and bread. Hahaha. TOO SLEEPY at work! So I make sure I keep myself awake by filling my bag with all these stuffs. :D

Coming Monday, going to Changi Prison with the lawyer for an interview session. Like coool!

Today, took bus from Yishun to Sultan Plaza, my place of Internship.
At an uber off-peak timing, that is 3pm, and it already took me 1hour10mins to reach, plus an additional 5mins of walk to the building.

So when my Internship starts, which is on the coming Monday, I'll need to leave the house 2hours before work time taking into account the whatever jam there might be at an uber peak timing. Siannnnnn ttm.

Headed to Bugis after that, just bout 4-5stops away from Sultan Plaza. Went to buy more formal wear. Today bought 6 formal tops! Went to amk hub after that to get a pair of black heels. Spent a total of $160+ in one day. Walaooooooooooo. I just spent close to $100 on 3 formal tops & 2 skirts two days ago. So in just 2 shopping days, $260+ gone. Walaoooooooooooooooooooo!

And now my room is filled with bags of stuffs from these few days of "Internship Shopping Spree".
I'm srly srly srly broke already.

Can't wait for Internship somehow, eyeing for the $$$$$. Woohooo!~

Bought 3 formal shirts and 2 skirts today for Internship.
Total up less than $100! Hehe.
But I need more eh. Anyone has any idea where to get not-so-expensive formal wear?
You know formal wear usually are quite costly.. Ugh. :/

Speaking of buying stuffs..
Yesterday, went shopping on my own for the first time in my life. Heh. Literally rotted at amk hub! Ended my shopping spree with 4 pairs of shoes. I had no one with me to seek opinion as to which is nicer so I ended up with all that I like. Omggg I really ought to stop spending money like water. What's more omg is, I haven't get a good pair of heels for my Internship. Shyt.

So far been hanging out almost everyday since the start of my break bout 1 week ago.
I'm so used to going out that I get bored easily if I were to stay home.
But tmr will be a stay-in day. Need to replenish my sleep and to revise for my Internship..

Oh yes, I realise I haven't familiarise the bus route to Sultan Plaza, the place for my Internship. Guess I'll just take buses on my own on Friday to confirm the bus routes. Gonna be damn zi bi man, zzz. Guess after that I'll go Bugis Junction to shop for formal wear. zZz. You guys must be wondering why not just take a train right? Well ever since I went in to Temasek Poly, I've much become a 'bus person'. I'd prefer to take buses than train, despite the longer travelling time. Somemore I've been quite dependent on bus concession, which is uber worth it for me. If I were to take the train now, I'd need both the bus & train concession, which is going to eat up bout 1/6 of my pathetic Internship income, so bus concession shall just be it. :D

So.. I'm really getting independent. Shopping on my own for the first time, and to find out the bus route to somewhere unfamiliar on my own too. *pat on my head*

On another note, I came across this on Facebook by Vicky:

This is so so so true, so so so so the right phrase for now.
Been spending these few days with my sissy. I'm thinking, if not for me been going out and keeping myself occupied, I'd feel have really empty.
And just nice for the next 11weeks I'll get really busy with my Internship. I guess by the end of the Internship I'd have gotten adapted to everything.

And now, I really really uber need to get my body clock right.
Been sleeping at 5+ or 6+ in the morning, and waking up at 4+ in the afternoon.
Idk how I am going to sleep by 1am by the start of my Internship. Shyt mannnnn.

This heavy feeling on my head really spoils my day man. The intensive baking session yesterday (Sunday) night only worsen the ache.

Look at the time now, 4.32a.m., and I'm wide awake. That's the problem with school break. I always lack the discipline to turn in early but instead get online for i-don't-know-what-reasons and then 6am become my bedtime. Body clock is so uberly screwed up that idk how to turn it back to normal by the start of my SIP.

Speaking of SIP, it's exactly 1 more week to the start of my SIP (Student Internship Program). It's gonna last for 11 weeks, till 3rd December. Super awesomely just nice for me to spend a good day after that. (:

Mixed feelings;
Excited to know more bout the legal industry, yet worried & afraid to not be able to handle the tasks given to me up to the expectation.

Really have to start revising in preparation for my Internship. Drafting of letters, court documents, etc..

This Internship is so important to me. It's gonna decide the path that I want to take up in future. If I stick to what I'm currently pursuing, chances of me studying 3 years abroad is so high. Once again, mixed feelings. Excited to be a step nearer to my goal, yet worried bout whatever that might change while I'm not around w my family/friends.

And now I need to really stock up on my formal wear, and a good pair of heels. Anyone up for shopping? (:

I get energetic only in the night. Like nocturnal! This is ALWAYS the effect I experience WHENEVER there's school break. Torturous man insomnia!

And lunch has been out of my life recently. Kind of used to not having lunch. Been informing mummy not to buy my lunch.. But today daddy cooked maggie despite me telling him it's okay. My diet! :/ AND AND. Thurs & Fri got to attend 7th month dinners. Waaaa... My diet, srly!

Civil Procedure test's over.
I know I've kind of screwed up the test.. I think I've gotten over it, cos' what's impt now is that it's the start of the 1-month study break and I ought to just relax & chill for now.

I like how I've been enjoying my meals in front of the tv for the past 2 days, spending bout an hour or so slowly munching, not having to worry bout studying for tests or doing any pending school work.

Sweet Treats #2 - Chocolate Lava Muffins

Baked again! This time round, chocolate lava muffins, the kind which you get the gooey molten chocolate in the center.

However, it failed. No lava! I let them cook for too long I guess. But the outside weren't cooked after 10mins so I had to continue letting them bake and in the end I couldn't get gooey lava inside. Urgh. So it tasted more like some moist, soft cake as the choco is not like completely cooked, as in still have some molten bits here and there. Yummy! (:

I like eating them fresh from oven, piping hot! The crispy edges is a plus point! (:

But I want the lava! :(
Gonna try again till I succeed!

Next up for baking, should be cookies!

I FINALLY GOT AN ELECTRIC OVEN!
HAHAHA.

Went over to Tampines' Courts to get an oven, and then to Giant to get all the baking necessities & ingredients, plus tidbits!

The oven has a capacity of 45 litres!!
I wanted to just get a 26 litres, or maybe a 30 litres one. But in e end I chanced upon this 45l one, at only $129! OMGGG.

Compare the size of the oven to the rice cooker.. HAHA.The microwave oven is also smaller than the electric oven!

An impromptu craving & decision to have Pepper Lunch for dinner after school. Haha. So headed to amk to satisfy my craving, with Sissy, Kelvin & Edwin. Yumyummm. Wanted to catch a movie after that but the showtimes and availability kinda cui so we just spent some time in the Arcade and off we went home.

22 July (Thur)
Missed both tutorial and lecture! So in the end Simin & I headed to school for nothing. Lol. We were heading to school for the lecture at 11am, but because of buying of bread at Tamp interchange, we missed bus 23. LOL. Yessss, satisfying our hunger is more important. The other available buses took like sooo long to arrive. If we were to enter the LT, it would be 11.05 already, meaning 5 mins late. And FYI, late-comers for Civil Pro lectures need to sit at the front row and be 'shot' w questions. So of course we didn't enter. Went ilaw and waited for Mark & Jonathan.

Met the guys and off we went to TM. Lunched at Ajisen and then caught the "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". The show's very very nice! (Y) Recommended!

After the movie, Jonathan left us, and the 3 of us went off to Orchard. Subsequently Mark left us, and it was shopping time for Simin & I. In the end we bought nothing! So many shoes stores, yet nothing appealed to us. :/ So sadddd. Simin & I went on to separate ways at 6.45pm.

I went on to Cineleisure to meet Sissy & Kelvin for movie. But so disappointing, couldn't catch "Old Cow vs Tender Grass (老牛与嫩草)" as we reached a lil' late, so we caught "Ong Bak 3" instead. Full of question marks for the show cos' apparently it's linked to "Ong Bak 1" and "2", which I didn't watch, so I was blur. But still manage to catch the storyline, I think..

After the movie, went Changi Village for dinner. Yumyummm.
After nomming, headed over to Seletar and then off we went home.

23 July (Fri)
Every Friday, I have Shermeine as my lunch khaki! (: How nice to have one Yishun classmate luh. Hahaha. So we lunched at Northpoint and headed to school.

2.5hours of lab session. Tian ah.. After school, went back home first, and then met darling, Surhui and Chenpheng for dinner at Mayim Chinese Cuisine at bout 7pm, as a form of birthday celebration for Chenpheng. :D

Mummy's sure against the idea of getting an oven, with reasons like, "For what?!", "We won't really use the oven one la!", or like "No no no! You don't know how to bake one la.".

The Microwave (ok I admit I typed "Microsoft") Oven at home has practically only one usage, and that is to heat up food. Doesn't allow me to bake, rrroars! I even had to specifically search for cake recipes that go with the 'steaming' method of preparation, to satisfy my baking desire. And the end products didn't taste that yummy.

Actually, if I tell daddy he will sure grant my wish straightaway and even get it for me.
Gonna try my luck later when he's back home. Hehehe.

Hmmm, my parents should all the more grant my wish okay. Once I get an oven I can bake every now and then, they can get to eat! I can even bake egg tarts for them, hehe.

Had a marvelous morning!

9am, supposedly to have this Crim Pro lesson with Mrs Charles. And at 8.55am Mr Mathavan came down and pasted a notice on the classroom door, stating that the lesson was cancelled.

The thing is, it's the only lesson we have on Mondays.

How marvelously annoying right!

This gave our class a chance for a mini outing. Mac breakfast, and then movie.
Shermeine & I excused ourselves after the breakfast though.
We missed Yishun too much. Lol.

And yup, there goes my beauty sleep. Damn wasted okay. And I had to spend 3 hours of transport time to and fro. Waste my timeeeeeeeee! But still, what I'm frustrated was my forgone sleep. Slept for only bout 2 hours. zZz.

Had this 3+hours of steamboat at Chuan Yi Pin (川一品) yesterday evening, with Sissy and Kelvin.
They cooked super uber yummy grilled food! My duties were only in grilling hotdogs and refilling drinks. Looool.
Super uber full toooo. So full that I felt nauseous.

And then, had this 14+hours of sleep till 5+pm.

Goodness, what good life! :D

And it's another schooling week again.

CPA & MLOCT class tests are finally over and done with!

For MLOCT test, it's amazing how the teacher allowed us to bring in 2 pieces of A4-size papers, for us to write whatever notes/mindmaps on all 4 sides of the papers. So we all squeeeeeezed the 7 topics of notes into the papers and you can imagine how teeny weeny our handwriting was. These are what I've got for myself!

And now I can't bear to throw my hard work away. Loool. Wrote till fingers hurt one okayyyy.

Anyways, now can relax already, at least for this weekend.

Time to reward myself with a loooooooooong beauty sleep tonight! (:

Today, after school, min and I went back to Yishun and got ourselves tidbits/snacks to munch while studying at home.

After getting the tidbits/snacks, we walked past this whole section of strawberries! We each got a pack of strawberries! They look so yumyum, and prettayeeee. (:

Idk how come, but I felt like buying all the food I could see in Northpoint. HAHA. And I've been spending so much on foodies/snacks these days.. Must controooool! But one thing that's comforting is that I only get digestive/oat/wheat or healthier choice biscuits, hahaha.

Oh and I saw "Xiao Man Tou"! Been ages since I last ate them. Had a lil' child-like craving for them so I bought a packet! (:

And so.. these are some of the foodie loots I have at home!

My cough has been really irritating every morning and past midnight, basically whenever I want to sleep and whenever I wake up.

If I die any time these days, it would be due to suffocation from excessive phlegm while sleeping, looool.

Okay, I think I really need to see Mr. Doctor after my test on Sat, urgh. Never in my life have I been to the doc's myself! I shall try it, soon. Hohoho.

Simin's 19th Bday Celeb + Worldcup Finals at CosCafe

11 July 2010, Sun

Went out to meet Simin at 10+pm for her lil' 19th bday celebration, plus to watch Worldcup Finals. :D

We reached CosCafe at CHIJMES at near 11pm. The guys were already there. So we chilled and chatted. 12+am, cake-cutting for Simin! Cam-whored a lil'. And then few of us headed over to Mac for a lil' nomming.

Finally it was 2.30am and the match kicked off! The atmosphere for watching the match outside was sooo different from that at home. At the table opposite ours was this big group of angmohs who were Holland supporters, and they were wearing orange Holland shirts. They were very noisy, proud, and like, just annoying. HAHA. Over at the other side, there was this big group of SPAIN supporters. They were less noisy, and they don't jeer or stuff like that. Being a Spain supporter, I couldn't wait for Spain to score a goal and then witness the super sian faces of the group of Holland supporters. :P

Finally finally and really finally, Spain scored and the whole Coscafe was practically in cheers and applauses! The atmosphere was overwhelming! Indeed the group of Holland supporters just sat there and stoned. HAHA, nice one! (Y)

Okay I think I'm like so mean, but they shouldn't get so proud in the first place when they should know Spain held a higher chance of beating Holland. Looool!

Match ended and we all left. It was so so so tough getting an available taxi. Too many people stayed out late for the Worldcup finals I guess.. Eventually we got one and hopped on. Home-d at bout 6am. Took a shower, online-d, packed my bag and I went straight to school. I wasn't tired at all. Until halfway thru' the lesson my eyelids started weighing a zillion tonnes and my head was nodding away.. Omg, I think Mrs Charles could see my barely-opened eyes.

Luckily it was only an one-hour plus lesson and that's it for the day. Went back home immediately after lesson, bathed and slept for 5 hours, thereby wasting my whole day not studying. So guilty, tsktsk.

Anyways, min, I hope you enjoyed the night, though it seemed like we hanged out mainly for the Worldcup.. Hahaha.

Few days back over at the Yishun bus interchange,
I asked him how much does it cost for a packet of tissue, and he answered $0.40.
I gave him $2 and took 2 packets.

He's a visually-handicapped young guy, not above 21yrs of age, I supposed.
I just saw him last week on bus 811. He was sitting directly opposite of me.
There was this woman who helped him up to the bus. Before he boarded the bus, the woman asked him where he stays and he replied Tampines, and went on having a lil' teeny conversation with the said woman.

I could sense his friendliness and comfort.

So coincidentally when I saw him again, I recognised him and decided to help him out a lil'. I told him to take care before I left.

I am not sure why he decided to come to Yishun to sell the pocket tissues when he stays in Tampines but anyway, it's just like me staying in Yishun and have to travel to and fro Tampines since I study at TP.

But well that's not the point.

Hmmm. So young, yet instills in himself a sense of independence that alot of us young people don't even possess. I'm sure he has been going through alot on his own, despite his disability.

I have to admit this is something I really got to learn from him.

I wish him all the best.

Haven't been updating my blog.. What I know of the past week is that it was a shag one. Cos' it's the new term after my near-to-3weeks break so now having to wake up early for school again, the body clock had to re-adjust and thus the weariness.

Significant happenings for the week?
Nothing much, cos I've been leading a "no-life" kind of "life". It's just school, and more school. Oh yes. My thumbdrive was misplaced in the house itself. I was super depressed for a couple of days until miracle happened. Mummy found it at the floor in her room. Like wth? I had absolute no idea how it ended up there but perhaps miracle really happened. Hehe. I told myself I will chiong ttm if my thumbdrive can return to my side and so.. I have to fulfill my promise.

And because of this thumbdrive incident, I learnt my lesson and have been backing up my files. :P

This week gonna be another shag week.

Underwent 4 interviews in 2 days. I'm like sick & tired of interviews already. I should just quickly accept an offer to stop attending further interviews right? Haha. But at e same time I feel that by having interviews, making trips down to the firms allows me check out their environment, and enable me to see if I find the place comfortable. This is pretty important too.

Oh yes tell you guys a secret. I love the feeling of walking out from a law firm dressed in formal wear. Loooooool :P

What if you have two choices:
1. A big law firm, situated in a very established and big building, where there are nice ambience and nice and big restaurants nearby, where the working adults wear very formal and smart suits, yet you feel kinda intimidated by the thought that you are going to such a wow law firm to work and you are worried that you will feel stressed or that the people there might give you some work that is not so in depth. You get rotated amongst different departments practising different areas of law, and ultimately what you learnt after the 3-months internship is of a surfaced level. In addition, the lawyers there will be so busy that you might be left neglected and you might be lost. However one thing that you are sure to gain is the prestigious and reputable law firm's name on your Certificate and testimonial, which can be very useful in the future.

2. A very small law firm, situated in a not-so-wow building, where there's coffeeshops nearby, and not alot of people with formal working suits, but the point is you feel comfortable with such a humble working environment, together with a patient and really nice and friendly boss, thus feeling more light-hearted every morning going for work. You know that working as an intern in such really small law firm allows you to be exposed to a very wide and big amount of work due to their small manpower, and you understand that ultimately you will get to learn so much and it is going to be a very fruitful learning journey there. Oh yes, you are told by the boss that he's going to pay you $xxx which is like even higher than what the big law firm is offering. However at the same time, comparing to those large and reputable law firms, this small firm's name may be less 'wow' on your Certificate.

So you tell me, which will you choose?
I am sure if I were to choose the smaller one, many people will go something like, "Omg why! So wasted!" Hahaha. Headache arrrrh.

Don't like to make big decisions. :/
There's always something you have to give up when you choose one thing over the other.
This is the same as "Consideration" in Contract Law - you have to give something in return.

Last week, no law firms called me for a confirmed interview session at all.

If you did read my previous post, I was hoping that I can have interviews this week right. How awesome can it be? Seems like my prayer is answered. (:

Just today, 3 called me while I'm sleeping (luckily I can hear my hp ring) and so I've got like 3 interviews lined up this week.

- 2 tomorrow, one at 10am and the other at 5pm. Omgggg, the duration in between is sooooo big, what am I going to do and where am I to go? :'(
- the 3rd interview will be on Wednesday.

Going all by myself. I don't even know the places. No sense of direction! Sure get lost one. Boohoooo. :'(

When I start going for interviews, I know I've grown up, haha. Those weird places.. where I've never gone before. Usually it's always me following the others, as in like cos' I have no sense of direction so it's always the others leading the way. Now, I have to go to places I've never gone to, all by myself.

I just hope I won't get lost! Hehe.

However, the easiest and safest way is to go down by cab.

BUT! When internship starts, I can't possibly take a cab down every day right.

Went to have sakae sushi teatime buffet with sissy, at Northpoint. I swear I'll never have any sushi buffet 6months from now. I was sooooooooooooo effin' full that I literally couldn't stand up straight. Was feeling terrible. Yea sounds exaggerating but srly I swear it was the first time I ate so fuuuuull! I always thought I have some extraordinary stomach or something, cos' I can eat alot, and somehow after a meal I still have space for extra side snacks or something. But this buffet really really proved me wrong.

So, my sushi buffet craving has been satisfied. I told myself I'm so gonna skip next day's lunch & dinner but in the end, daddy drove sissy and I to Marsiling for Bak Kut Teh. Omggggg. Damn sinful damn sinful damn sinful. Somemore it's the 2nd time I'm having Bak Kut Teh for the week. I just had it on Tuesday at Malaysia. OMG LUH. I srly srly srly need to go on diet. I feel like I've put on 10kg in just this week. :'(

I just asked mummy to help me buy papaya tmr. I need it for digestion and to.. erm.. expel.. hehehe.

Went to school to have a test from 11-12noon, and then went back to Yishun to meet Kui for lunch and stuffs first. (:

After that, headed to Somerset to meet darlinggg. :D

Shopped around Far East and walked around town in the afternoon. Bought 3 accessories. I super super love black+gold accessories!! Plus pearl = perfect. Super chiiiooo cannn.

Halfway, sat down and have dessert. Yumyum!

This is the birthday girl feeling all blissed with her wish-come-true!

Continued shopping, camwhored, and then left for Timbre @ Substation at 8+pm!

Timbre on Tuesday night was not a crowded one. But still, ambience was very good. :D
We had:
- 1 Pizza: Roasted Duck & Hawaiian
- 3 glasses of Gray Goose Vodka, one for each
- 2 jugs of Whiskey for darling & I
- 2 baskets of chicken wings

Wah, damn full can.

Had a 'Civil Procedure Friday'. Both tutorial and lab in a day from 12 to 4+pm.
Thank you Ms Lim for explaining to the class, so detailedly on the principles and rules despite us not requesting for explanations. It's you who are worried that we will not understand and that's why you took the effort and time to teach us. Really appreciate it! Alot of rules and principles have been confusing but after today, somehow I feel a lil' lighter on the load. :D

Anyways after an info-overload day, headed off to Bugis to meet darling! It's been so long since we last hanged out. Shopped at Bugis Street, then had dinner at "HONGUO". The food there is nice, but the variety is pretty small. After dinner, I went to buy this "3 Scoops for $3" icecream! Flavours chosen were that of sesame, green tea & cookies! Yumyum, not very sweet, cos' they're mostly healthier-choice ones. Yumyum though! :P

Took 851 back to Yishun, and home-d. (:
Reached home was already 10+pm, and tmr I got to wake up at 6+am to attend the SIP Briefing in school. It's a holy Saturday, and I can't have my beauty sleeeep. Urgh.

I stay at home every Sat and Sun, sitting in front of the lappie, doing tutorials and projects. I keep thinking to myself, "When can I have an off-day on a Saturday or Sunday, with no worries on school work at all?"

This semester has been a craze, really.

Last semester was too much a breeze, I realised.

Had a massive full 3 hours of Civil Procedure lab lesson from 2-5pm.
Ms Sylvia Lim was really nice, always thinking for us every now and then. She would go "...I think you guys need a break..." cos' she knew that there's still alot to cover for the lesson, and she would also encourage us "...you see, it's really a short one." cos' she knew that we had gone through many many drafting of documents and she wanted to assure us that it's gonna be over soon.

So sweet of her! And of course the class, very very strange enough, had no one bit of complaint or grumble. Class was very quiet (except for Mark's occassional soft laughters while chatting with his friend on FB lmao), and it APPEARED that all of us were quite on attention. [:

Oh and did I mention that the filing of WOS made me so busy that I had to run a lil' here and there to print stuffs (again and again), and to borrow stapler and double-sided tape? Hahaha.

But overall, the whole Civil Pro lab session was marvelous, as we covered everything and I managed to stay bright awake throughout. Very much a sense of accomplishment.

After school, met up with sissy at Tampines One.
Dined at Manpuku Japanese Gourmet Town (Restaurant). The variety of food was aloooot , aloooooot. Sissy and I were soo excited, almost every store we saw food we want! Yumyum!

After about 2hours(yes we spent so looooong trying to finish up the food) of dinner at Manpuku, headed back to Yishun, for Partyworld at Northpoint! (:

I was so frustrated and stressed out, ttm, cos' I seriously had no idea which to choose as most of the topics seem difficult to be understood.

Finally, after hours and hours, I picked one and had been trying to start off as much as possible. Monday, not going school, so hopefully I can just chionggggggg.

Oh man, I really feel like a nerd. Sbff was telling me I'm siao or something. Yes, I complete my tutorials very much on time, or rather during the week before, but somehow I feel that for projects wise I seem to be a laggard. Loooool, am I really siao already? I even told him to slap me. Gosh, I really feel nerdy. I'M GILA ALREADY LAAAAA.

I think the main reason is because I feel kind of helpless this sem.. Last year I remembered how June motivated me! For the Company Law individual project, she started way before 95% of the people and that made me forced myself and I was already halfway thru' when the rest just started. For Conveyancing Law in-progress lab work, she and I would always make sure we discuss and check our work with each other every night on MSN to make sure everything goes right, and for this, I made sure I finish up my lab work as early as possible to not let her wait for my work for too long. So June, you see how you made an impact during my Year 2.2 period of time!

So now there seems to be a vast difference. I seem to be a lil' helpless. But somehow I have this sbff who could be some help to me here and there sometimes, like for e.g. in civil pro, shhhh. HAHA.

On a side note, I'm having muscle aches on my calves and lower back! Been jogging/running (on my toes) at home these two evenings. But somehow I feel shiok to have the muscle ache feel on my calves, it makes me feel like I've done some exercise straining on my legs. And I like the idea of having a good sweat after a workout! But I shouldn't have done the stretching thing yesterday. My lower back problem seems to be back again.

Oh yes, can somebody kindly taggg? I've been blogging alot for these two days and it feels like I'm yakking to myself. :'( I don't care who you are, whether I know you (well enough) or not, just tag and lemme know that at least someone's here? [:

2nd night out with sis, broinlaw, kelvin, edwin

Yesterday evening, hanged out for the second time with sissy, sissy's bf, and sissy's friends namely Edwin & Kelvin. And Ray who joined us later in the night.
(I don't know why but I feel kind of weird addressing them, who are elder than me, by their names. You know, like without a "kor" behind or something, lol!)

Before meeting them, sissy, sissy's bf & I went Northpoint to get the OSIM u-mama for mummy as Mother's Day gift. Then trained to Bishan to meet Edwin & Kelvin, who drove us here and there for the night. (:

First stop, to Tao's Restaurant @ Paradiz Centre for dinner at 8+pm. We had this 7-course dinner set. Yumyum! I love the Tiramisu, the Grilled Chicken Jumbo Leg, and the Ice Apple Rose Tea! I think I made the correct choices for most of the courses except for the soup. I chose the sharkfin melon herbal soup, and it tasted nothing more like the kind of soup we have at home.. Should have taken the Cream of Mushroom! Haha.

After dinner, caught "Back-up Plan" @ Cathay Cineplex, at 9.30pm. Overall the show was not bad, rating it 4/5. One thing I remember most vividly is the part when one of the ladies were in labor in water. It was EPIC! Seriously. Another thing I can remember is that there's so many kissing scenes. I wonder why the leads like to kiss sooooo muchhhhhh.

After the movie, went to SuperBowl @ Hougang at about 11.45pm. Many many times my ball(sounds wrong!) landed into the drain! Luckily sissy wasn't any better. HAHA. If not would be damn embarrassing! The guys claimed that they aren't good at bowling either but in the end... tsktsk. After 2 games, sissy and I went to the arcade to have a few rounds of games, and then back to bowling area, waiting for the rest to finish their games. Done with bowling at about 2.30am.

Nasi Lemak for supper @ Punggol. Yumyum. After nomming and chattings, it was already 3+a.m. and off we headed homeee. Reached home at about near 3.45am.. Bathed and blah, went to bed at 5+am. Was so shaggggg!

Woke up at 2+pm today although I was really tired. I think I'm a nerd luh, was feeling guilty for not having done any work yesterday, so I forced myself out of bed to do some leftover tutorials. I'm glad all tutorials, except MLCOT, are done! Yes!

Now left with the projects.. I haven't start at all! I feel so slack this year, gosh. I need to pull up my sockies (shoes; shorts; shirts; dress; everything!)!

Been the 3rd week of Yr 3.1...

I know my blog's rotting.. But ever since the recommencing of school life, days have been tiresome and I'll rather use whatever spare time to do some e-shopping or to watch tv. Hahaha.

Hmmmm. Lemme update on my current new school semester, i.e. Year 3.1..

Time flies, and in a blink of an eye, from being very blur and lost, to becoming serious in my work, I'm finally in my third and final year of my tertiary education. It has been a rather tedious journey, especially for one pursuing the course of mine. It's been hell lots of self-directed learning, and hell loads of problem-based learning projects. For some modules, the teachers just throw whatever instructions they have for an assessment, and that's it, you are to do your own whatever readings/research and then come with a final and proper quality work, without even giving us any lectures at all. Yes, we learn the law ourselves, we start everything from scratch, from the fundamental to the depth. All by ourselves.

So I said it wasn't an easy journey.

To be able to navigate through the ups and downs to finally the third and final year (without failing/retaking any modules/exams) is really something worth to be relieved and proud of. [=

Now that I am in my final year, I hope I can continue to persevere and strive towards a higher level.

This semester, I'm learning:
1. Civil Procedure
2. Criminal Procedure
3. Companies and Partnership Accounting
4. Management of Law Office and Court Technology

I have to admit that the modules for this sem. are rather dry, yet can be interesting at the same time.

The courts, are what we have to read and come across every now and then..

Criminal procedure is something which is very very useful for what I want to be in the future, so I'm trying to enjoy learning it, and also, hope that I can really understand toooo. With this module, I seem to have reached to a decision of me being certain to take up that path.

The most GROSSIFIED module I've ever taken in my poly days has to be MLOCT, for sure. We have to do this project, whereby we are to design and plan a layout of a law office FROM SCRATCH, taking into account the location, size, type, etc etc, based on factors such as area of law practice, target clients, etc. We even have to sketch a layout plan of it. Seriously, wth? I don't see why we need to do this. Yes, teachers say we can be an office manager of a law firm in the future with this knowledge, but helllooooo, it's kind of too much and too far for us, at least for now. I'm sure we want to learn something related to paralegals or lawyers' job scope, and not one of an office manager. Furthermore, I believe one who has never learnt such a module can still design and build a fantastic law office with discussions and ideas from fellow employees or even a certified office designer! My gosh!

If we have to learn everything related to legal industry, I think we can dieeeee.

Okay anyway, back to topic..

The next semester, i.e. 3.2, we are supposed to choose electives for our course. Hopefully I can get into the top choice, but well, ultimately the decision still lies with the arrangement by the teachers based on all our choices.

And finally, about the new class I am in.
It's been the 3rd week already, but we are still a lil' scattered here and there, though not as scattered nor awkward as during the first two weeks. Hopefully things will get better, hopefully all of us can mix and mingle well, especially after the teachers group us for the projects, when we can then really mix with people we never talked to yet (still, to certain persons as exception, oops).

Hmmm okayyy, I believe this is a rather longgggggg post. Not sure when will be my next update, but do stay tunes (as if there's many people reading :[)!

Had a night out with kui & en . (:
Caught the movie, "Monga" at PS' GV.
And then we walked to Timbre, but the queue there was AWESOME.
So we decided to return to Yishun, and then to S11 to mum mum and back home. (:
